== Connection to August == When August was a freshman, senior Sam Nelson gave him the nickname βKennyβ because he thought August looked like a younger version of Knox. August was on the speech team for all four years of high school, beginning to win regularly starting his second year. His main event was Impromptu Speaking; though he also saw similar success in Extemporaneous Speaking his Senior year and would do Original Oratorical speaking his sophomore through senior years and Humorous Duet Acting his junior year.
