I build and fix the digital side of your business.
You followed a link that said hire me, work with me, or yes, I actually answer my email — this is that page. I build and fix the digital side of my own and other people’s work: websites, systems, automations, and the writing and design on top of them.
No pitch deck required. Tell me what’s broken, what’s missing, or what you want built, and I’ll tell you straight whether I’m the right person for it. Rare I ever feel left, though!
Systems that run without me · Documentation that survives me · Writing that sounds like a person
Web Engineering & CMS
Full builds in WordPress and Joomla — themes, plugins, migrations, hosting, DNS and TLS through Porkbun, speed and cleanup passes, documentation wikis, storefronts. Rescuing a site someone else abandoned counts as a specialty. If it has to stay up and load fast on a phone, call me, beep me, reach out to me.
Automation & AI Systems
The part most people don’t know they need. Right now it lives in someone’s head, three spreadsheets and a group chat — I turn it into a system that runs without a babysitter. API integrations, multi-source data ingestion, LLM and agentic AI where it genuinely earns its keep, and reports that build themselves. I’ve shipped one in under three hours that turned several weeks of intensive work into a ten-minute job behind a single button. If your team spends Friday re-typing Monday’s numbers, we should talk.
IT, Infrastructure & Fix-It Work
Break/fix and steady-state IT for small operations: networks, accounts, device hygiene, backups that have actually been tested, permission cleanups, email and DNS gremlins — the unglamorous maintenance that keeps a business from having a very expensive bad week. Online is my domain, but I ain’t afraid to go outta network, yadidimean? I work with what you already own before I sell you anything new, same as I’d treat my own shop.
Creative & Content
Writing and editing, site copy that sounds like a person, visual and brand assets, video editing and social deliverables, and technical documentation people actually read. I was an acting major before I was self-taught in systems, so the creative side was never a side quest. Why do you think all this technical magic looks so damn good?
Partnership & Retainer
Documentation and reference material are all well and good, but I can also be a soundboard — less running coffee, more running your workflows and systems past another brain. For organizations that need a technical person without a full-time hire: ongoing maintenance, on-call sanity checks, a steady drip of improvements, and someone who already knows your setup when it breaks at a bad time.
Intake
Send the situation, not a formal RFP. Screenshots, links, what’s urgent and by when, and roughly what you can spend.
Scope & quote
I tell you what I think you’re asking for, what’s realistic, and where your constraints make it impossible — with reasons, not vibes. You get a scope and a number before anything starts.
Build
Plain-language updates as I go. No ghosting mid-project, and if the scope moves we talk about it then, not when it shows up on an invoice. Hidden fees? Hidden please!
Handoff & support
I walk you through it, hand over the keys, and stick around to explain, repair, or replace whatever needs it.
Three shapes: hourly for diagnosis and small jobs, fixed-price for scoped projects, and a monthly retainer for ongoing work.
I quote after I understand the job, not before — and I’d rather tell you a job is too small for me than pad it.
Hourly
Diagnosis, small jobs, and the odd fire that needs a second set of eyes.
Fixed-price
Projects I can scope properly. Quoted once I understand the job — not before.
Monthly retainer
Ongoing work, maintenance, and someone who already knows your setup on call.
Community groups, mutual aid projects, small operators: say so up front — that gets priced differently.
Five things. No formal RFP, no deck.
- Goal — what you’re trying to do, in your own words.
- Blocker — what’s broken, plus a link or screenshot.
- Deadline — when you need it, fixed or flexible.
- Budget — a rough range, even a wide one.
- Sign-off — who else has to say yes.
Tell me what you’re working with. You’ll get questions, a rough shape of the work, or a straight no.
Kept cryptic to avoid spam — the superscript is the number, fyi. Best for something urgent that won’t survive a mailbox.
I’m in Denver, on Mountain Time. If it’s urgent, say so in the subject line and I’ll look at it sooner.
Do you work with clients outside Colorado?
Can you take over a project someone else started?
Will you take a small job?
Do you do the writing too?
I don’t know what I need yet.
If you read this far, you’re probably the kind of client I like.
Send the message. If I’m not your fit, I’ll tell you that too — and point you somewhere better when I can.
