Poppy
Poppy (born Moriah Rose Pereira) is a musician and former YouTube personality whom August Casso has followed since before she was anybody.
The Long Follow
[edit | edit source]August's version of this story is not the one a fan tells after finding someone late. Poppy began uploading to YouTube in 2011, broke through as the satirical "That Poppy" persona, and then spent the following decade walking that fame straight into music — out of pop and into industrial, heavy metal and rock. Her channel has since passed 3.14 million subscribers and 773.9 million views.
August was there for the whole arc, on and offline.
On Tour
[edit | edit source]August bought VIP for every tour she ran. That held right up until they became homeless — the touring stopped when the money did, not when the interest did.
The Tattoo
[edit | edit source]August has a Poppy tattoo on their arm.
