The Autobiographical Archive
An autobiographical archive collects a person's own recollections, reflections, and records over time. Augwiki's Main Page presents the site as August Casso's personal archive and public record. The August Casso page expands that narrative into biographical periods.
What this kind of archive can show
[edit | edit source]First-person writing can preserve how its author remembers an event, what they considered important, and how their interpretations changed. Entries may connect otherwise separate periods through recurring themes and remembered transitions.
What it cannot establish by itself
[edit | edit source]A memoir is not the same as an independent investigation. The Main Page cautions that accounts are shaped by perspective and memory, and asks readers not to treat the wiki as an authoritative source for consequential legal claims. Details should be checked against independent documentation when that matters.
Reading across pages
[edit | edit source]Augwiki's chapter structure allows readers to move from broad overview to a focused event or period. Links are navigation aids, not a guarantee that each page has outside corroboration. This article describes the form of the archive, not a new account of events.
