Passing and Memorial Tattoo
[edit | edit source]Bart Case passed away in May 2023. Following his father's death, August commemorated him with a tattoo of Bart's actual signature, documenting the memorial on May 23, 2023 with the dedication:
- "permanent autograph, I’ll miss you dad. rest in peace"
Impact on the Denver Timeline
[edit | edit source]Public assumptions often mistakenly conflated Bart's passing with August's immediate arrival on the streets of Denver. As clarified in The Denver Arrival (December 2nd), while Bart's loss was an emotional earthquake, the road to Denver was complicated by several months of cross-state movements, the Wisconsin chapter in Oshkosh, and complex familial dynamics before August landed on the Denver concrete in December 2023.
